What next for the Booking Rooster? The development team is now well down the track with a check-in app so you can scan tickets at the door using an iPad.
Version 1.0 of the check-in kiosk for iPad allows you to retrieve tickets by scanning, entering ticket or booking references or entering an email address. New bookings can even be added at the door. At this stage this credit card processing is not available on the app so administrators need to direct customers to the main site to make last minute bookings.
While the check-in app has been developed for the events market, thought has been put into how it will work for the training sector too. Booking Rooster co-creator Moira Moroney sees great potential with this tool for professional associations, PTE's and training businesses who need to track and verify attendance.
The check-in app is now available as an optional extra, when you purchase your Booking Rooster system or as an optional extra module that can be added later.
